The Story Behind Next Gen Marketing
Next Gen Marketing was created after recognizing a common problem in the digital marketing industry: too many agencies rely on one-size-fits-all strategies without understanding the communities their clients serve.
Before launching the agency, the founder spent several years leading marketing for a local small business while also consulting with other companies looking to grow their online presence. During that time, it became clear that many large marketing firms applied the same strategies to businesses across completely different industries and markets, including smaller regional cities like Shreveport, Tyler, and Texarkana.
But local markets operate differently.
Growing up in Shreveport and spending a lifetime around small business owners provided a unique understanding of how customers in these communities search for and choose the businesses they trust. Recognizing that gap led to a deeper focus on search engine optimization, local SEO strategy, and digital marketing built specifically for local businesses.
Next Gen Marketing was ultimately created to combine modern marketing strategies—such as local SEO, Generative Engine Optimization for AI, Google Maps optimization, and social media marketing—with a more personal, hands-on approach that helps businesses remain competitive in an increasingly digital world.
Meet Our Founder & CEO
Alexandra Cubley, founder of Next Gen Marketing, was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, where entrepreneurship and small business ownership were a part of her every day life. Growing up, she watched firsthand as her father built and grew one of the largest landscaping companies in Northwest Louisiana. From an early age, this provided a front-row seat to the realities of running a small business. The long hours, the risks, and the responsibility of supporting employees and serving customers in the community.
With a decade of professional experience in digital marketing, Alexandra has developed deep expertise in local SEO strategy, Google optimization, social media marketing, and brand positioning. Through Next Gen Marketing, she helps businesses strengthen their online visibility, improve their search rankings, and stand out in competitive local markets.
